 Coach Gary Schmitt begins his second year with the Trojan hockey program as an assistant coach, returning to the program in which he was a three year letterman

     He played his youth hockey in the Garfield Heights youth hockey program.

     As a member of the Trojan varsity, Schmitt was a member of the talented class of 2003, and by his senior year was one of the strongest and most gifted players on the squad. A tireless worker on the ice, Schmitt posessed a physical style and a better than average shot.

     Coach Schmitt then played two years at Kent State University before returning to the Trojans.
